When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office, if haven't already done so. If you have dental insurance, please bring your card.
Your initial exam will last approximately one and 1/2 hours. Adult initial exams are scheduled directly with the doctor and you will receive a very thorough dental and periodontal examination, an oral cancer screening with the VelScope, and a test of your airway. We will take any x-rays that are necessary, as well.
Once this information is gathered, the doctor will use it to develop a treatment plan for you and we will have you return for a no charge consultation to discuss the findings, the treatment plan, and you will then be scheduled for the visits you need with the hygienist and doctor.
Children, teens, and young adults are scheduled with the hygienist and examined by the doctor at their new patient visits.
Our work is focused on preventive programs to help our patients have healthy, beautiful teeth and gums for life. That takes continuing care visits, which are individualized to each patient's needs.
