graduated from The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where he was the recipient of the Dr. Harry Lyons Outstanding Student Award and where he is currently an associate professor on the adjunct faculty. He completed his general practice residency at Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Outside the office, Dr. McMunn is involved with the Virginia Dental Health Foundation's Mission of Mercy and the Crossover Ministry Dental Clinic.
has been practicing dentistry for 14 years. After graduating from Old Dominion University School of Dental Hygiene, she worked as a dental hygienist for four years. She then obtained her dentistry degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry and completed the Advanced General Dentistry Residency Program at MCV Hospital.
She has served on several committees for the Richmond Dental Society, including the Peer Review Committee and the Member Public Information Committee, of which she was Committee Chairman. She was also an alternate delegate for the Virginia Dental Association, where she began the program P.A.N.D.A. (Prevent Abuse and Neglect Through Dental Awareness).
